Townsville & JCU Rowing Club
The Townsville & JCU Rowing Club (T & JCU RC) is situated on the banks of the picturesque Ross River between Black’s and Aplin’s Weir; the boathouse occupies the lower ground floor of Riverside Gardens Community Centre on Riverside Boulevard.
Rowing is conducted to cater for all levels of community participation and varying degrees of commitment amongst our members, and the Club regularly participates in local and country premiership regattas.
The boatshed houses a range of ergometers and provides storage for the club's fleet of sculling and rowing shells, and coaching tinnies; and is also the home base for five local schools who are members of the Townsville All Schools Rowing Association
A high proportion of our club members are active rowers and can often be seen rowing on the scenic 5km Ross River between the Black's Weir and Aplin's Weir, most often in the early hours of the morning to beat the tropical heat of the day and late afternoon.
Regular regattas (school – see the TASRA page , club and championship) are held on the 1000m, 5 lane competition course.
The club is governed by an elected Management Committee that meets on a regular basis to formulate development strategies and conduct the day-to-day running of the club's affairs; and is an affiliated member of Rowing Queensland Incorporated.

Image Purchasing Information ....
PLEASE NOTE :- Images on the web are for display purposes – all ordered/purchased images will be checked (and corrected if required) for colour, contrast, exposure, etc prior to being mailed out via Registered Post

Sizes ....
Digital images will be provided in their original size and format - this gives you the greatest flexibility in your use of the image, for example :- The image can be emailed to family members
- Take the image to a print shop for your own prints in any size and quantity that suits
- Place the image in a digital photo frame
- Save the image on your (or family members) pc as a desktop or screen saver image
- Montage several images together, or modify the image on your pc
Prints will be offered in a variety of sizes - this gives you the greatest flexibility in your choice of frame and location for the display of your picture/s, for example :- 4 x 6 PRINT
- 6 x 8 PRINT
- 8 x 10 PRINT
- 8 x 12 PRINT
- 16 x 24 PRINT
- 20 x 30 PRINT

Prices ....
Prices will depend on the format of the images you choose to purchase :- Digital File - $25.00 per image
- 4 x 6 PRINT - $15.00 per print
- 6 x 8 PRINT - $25.00 per print
- 8 x 10 PRINT - $35.00 per print
- 8 x 12 PRINT - $40.00 per print
- 16 x 24 PRINT - $70.00 per print
- 20 x 30 PRINT - $100.00 per print
Options and additional information ....
- Viewing an individual image will display the price (and, if applicable, other various purchase options) for each individual image
- Postage – AUS $10.00
- Discounts – order 5+ images: 15% discount and free postage (will be calculated at "checkout" automatically)
- Digital Images will be mailed to you on a usb drive via Registered Post
- Prints will be mailed in a flat photo folder or protective photo tube via Registered Post
