Townsville All Schools Rowing Association - TASRA ....
The TSARA was first formed in 2000, and the Committee comprises a representative from each of the member schools; and a representative from both Townsville & JCU RC and Riverway RC.
Rowing is a non-contact sport that builds teamwork and provides a good base of aerobic fitness encouraging participants to develop a team spirit and ability to work in a close-knit group environment. School rowing provides supervised training sessions and the ability to compete at local and regional regattas, and for some senior crew’s representation at state and national level regattas. The TASRA manages the Schools Regatta program throughout school terms 2 & 3 with many parents actively involved as volunteers during the TASRA Regatta season.
The TASRA comprises the following six schools in the Townsville Schools competition calendar :
The Head of the River Regatta is the last local regatta of the school rowing season, and for many this is the "regatta to win" as it is the only local school regatta to award medals and pendants; as well as a trophy oar to each of the winning girls and boys open eights and trophy oars for the most successful (aggregate points) girls and boys programs.
PLEASE NOTE :- Photos taken in 2005 & 2006 were taken at both the TGS Regatta (on water) and the Head of the River (on land)
- Photos from the 2005 & 2006 Head of the River (HOTR) can be found in both the relevant school portfolio and the miscellaneous portfolio; the TGS Regatta photos for the same years will be in the relevant school portfolio only
- Photos from 2005 & 2006 are tagged "TGS Regatta 200X" or "TSV HOTR 200X" to differentiate between the two regattas
- From 2007 onwards, photos were only taken at the HOTR

Image Purchasing Information ....
PLEASE NOTE :- Images on the web are for display purposes – all ordered/purchased images will be checked (and corrected if required) for colour, contrast, exposure, etc prior to being loaded onto a usb drive and mailed out via Registered Post
- ALL images in the TARSA pages can ONLY be purchased as Digital Files at AUS $25.00 per image
Sizes ....
The digital image/s will be provided in their original size and format - this gives you the greatest flexibility in your use of the image, for example :- The image can be emailed to family members
- Take the image to a print shop for your own prints in any size and quantity that suits
- Place the image in a digital photo frame
- Save the image on your (or family members) pc as a desktop or screen saver image
- Montage several images together, or modify the image on your pc
- Use the image as part of a family slideshow – say at an 18th or 21st birthday

Prices will depend on the format of the images you choose to purchase : - ALL images in the TARSA pages can ONLY be purchased as Digital Files at AUS $25.00 per image
Options and additional information ....
- Viewing an individual image will display the price (and, if applicable, other various purchase options) for each individual image
- Postage – AUS $10.00
- Discounts – order 5+ images: 15% discount and free postage (will be calculated at "checkout" automatically)
- Digital Images will be mailed to you on a usb drive via Registered Post
Images can be "added to cart" by ....- Clicking the "shopping trolley" in the menu buttons on the top right of the individual image view page
- Clicking on the various image purchase options listed below the thumbnails when viewing an individual image
Viewing your "cart" ....- Click on the "view and adjust quantities" link at the bottom right of the individual photo page
