RQ School State Championships – 2009 – Bundaberg, "Bucca Weir"
The 2009 RQ School State Championships were held in Bundaberg: famous as the home of Bundaberg Rum, the "Bucca" rowing course is an eight lane, 2000 meter fully buoyed course. Located at the Bucca Weir at the end of a 6 km stretch of rowable river, "Bucca" is approximately 40 km's from the city centre and set in a picturesque natural environment with a natural elevated viewing area located adjacent to the finish line and boat launching/landing area.
The "Photos by Race" album contains individual albums listed by Race Number/Boat Class and are listed in numerical order; the individual albums contain images of racing for that race/boat class; all other images will be in the relevant "Miscellaneous" or "BRO & Volunteer" album
There is a link in the "Photos by Event & Class" album to download a PDF copy of the regatta results,
Photos in the BRO and Volunteer Album are free......simply order your chosen digital file images online and they will be posted out to you on a usb memory stick (no charge for postage if you are only ordering BRO or Volunteer images).
On the Monday afternoon I was taking photos in the launching/landing area and took many of the Girls Open 8+'s pre/post race – these photos will be in the album in the "... CG 8+ Launching/Landing"

Disclaimer ....
- While every attempt has been made to provide complete coverage of the heats on all three days, I was at all times required to ensure I did not encroach on the running of the regatta.
- The RQ BRO's and in particular the Regatta Referee, Steve Hinchy, gave me great access to the various start and marshalling areas, and the course itself: there were, however, occasions out of my control that prevented crews/races being photographed during the regatta.

Sizes ....
Digital images will be provided in their original size and format - this gives you the greatest flexibility in your use of the image, for example :- The image can be emailed to family members
- Take the image to a print shop for your own prints in any size and quantity that suits
- Place the image in a digital photo frame
- Save the image on your (or family members) pc as a desktop or screen saver image
- Montage several images together, or modify the image on your pc
- Use the image as part of a family slideshow – say at an 18th or 21st birthday

- Race details; for example – Championship Women's U16 1x
- Sculler or crew members names listed from bow through stroke/cox
- Please also include your order number, and image number

Prices will depend on the format of the images you choose to purchase :- Digital File - $25.00 per image
- Print - 11 x 14 - $50.00
- Print - 16 x 20 - $70.00
OR with a digital copy of the image on a usb stick- Print - 11 x 14 + a digital copy of your chosen image on a usb stick - $65.00
- Print - 16 x 20 + a digital copy of your chosen image on a usb stick - $85.00

- Viewing an individual image will display the price (and, if applicable, other various purchase options) for each individual image
- Postage – AUS $10.00
- Discounts – order 5+ images: 15% discount and free postage (will be calculated at "checkout" automatically)
- Digital Images will be mailed to you on a usb drive via Registered Post
- Prints will be mailed in a flat photo folder or protective photo tube via Registered Post
