Townsville Outrigging Regatta - 2nd & 3rd May, 2009
Launching of the Strand near the Cold Rock Ice Creamery and with Maggie on the horizon, the scene was set for two exciting days of racing.
With clubs competing from all over North Queensland, and a huge variety of events on offer, the racing and excitement was always going to be non-stop!
Once the traditional blessings on the beach had been performed and the first of many race briefings was over, very quickly the crews and boats hit the water .... and both days were action packed on the beach and on the water.
After two days of hard racing, it was off to a local pub for presentations and the first of many well earned drinks ....
I hope you enjoy the photos .... I had loads of fun taking them; and got plenty wet as well!

The digital images will be provided in their original size and format – this gives you the greatest flexibility in your use of the image :
- As a screen saver or desktop image on your computer
- In a digital photo frame
- Or take to your local photo shop for your own prints in your choice of size

- Images ordered before midnight Sunday 17th May will be at an event image price of $20.00 per image (regular price is $25.00 per image) and the discount listed below still applies on this event image price.
Viewing an individual image will display the price (and other various purchase options - digital or print, size, quantity etc) for each individual image :
- Digital file – AUS $20.00 each (until Sunday 17th May)
- Postage – AUS $10.00
- Discounts – order 5+ of any image/size combination – 15% discount and free postage (will be calculated at "checkout" automatically)
- Digital Images will be mailed to you on a CD
